On June 18, 5:30 PM, WTC Yerevan will host a Catalyst talk with mountaineer and founder of Arevi Guesthouse, Gevorg Gasparyan, who has conquered numerous peaks, including Mount Everest.
Together with Gevorg, we will explore the journey from mountaineering to personal and professional growth. Having reached the summit of Everest, Gevorg believes that the climb is far more than a physical challenge; it is a transformative experience that shapes one's mindset and influences both everyday life and business. The journey teaches valuable lessons about setting goals, overcoming obstacles, and developing essential skills such as leadership, responsibility, and continuous self-improvement.
Gevorg began his career in tourism in 2009 and expanded into mountain tourism in 2011. In 2012, he successfully summited Mount Ararat, followed by Damavand in 2013, and later Kazbek, Elbrus, Mont Blanc, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Khan Tengri, Aconcagua, Matterhorn, and Everest.
In 2018, he founded Arevi Guesthouse in the village of Yeghegis, Vayots Dzor Province, and in 2023 opened a second guesthouse under the same name in the village of Gosh, Tavush Province. Today, his primary professional focus is adventure tourism.
